In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, in all higher education institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the healthy development, physically and psychologically, of all students,
a) It is headed by the Head of the Institution, and consisting of representatives of civil and police administration, local media, Non Government Organizations involved in youth activities, representatives of faculty members, representatives of parents, representatives of students belonging to the freshers’ category as well as senior students, non-teaching staff; and shall have a diverse mix of membership in terms of level as well as gender.
Admissions Committee at PRT Group of Institution is the face of the Institute which is visible to the aspirants before joining the Institute. The student body representatives act as the first Point-Of-Contact for the aspirants.The predominant responsibility of the committee is to facilitate the admissions process of the incoming batch at PRT Group of Institution.
The Admissions Committee supervises a dedicated mentorship program wherein the team facilitates a one-on-one interaction for the aspirants with the current batch of students so that they get to clear all their doubts regarding the any process on a personal level.
The committee co-ordinates with the Admissions Office to ensure seamless communication about the admission process with the incoming batch. They address the queries of the candidates on multiple social media platforms to ensure that journey to PRT Group of Institution is smooth and hassle-free..
The Discipline Committee is constituted for the maintenance of discipline in the college. The committee will ensure that students obey rules and remain orderly and peaceful in the pursuant of educational objectives/goals in the college community..
To serve as model in terms of character training and behavior for students.
To assist the students in conforming to college rules and regulations.
To help students develop self-discipline.
To administer consequence commensurate with offence committed by any student.
To frame new college rules and regulations in consultation with the administration for the students behavioural aspect.
To promote and encourage good behaviour among the teachers and students.
To create an environment that is conducive to peaceful and harmonious co-existence of staff & students of different houses and grades.
The Academic Committee is the highest authority of academics, exercising the power in decision-making, examination, evaluation and consultation of all academic affairs of the college.
1) To meet at least once in a month or whenever required developing the ways & means to ensure that quality teaching learning process is of the utmost priority.
To formulate the guidelines, rules & regulations of all academic affairs of the Institute.
2) To visualize and formulate perspective plans for academic development & growth of the Institute.
To propose & review academic calendar as per need and directors of affiliating university.
3) To decide the academic working hours holidays as per directions by the given affiliating university.
4) To review the student & faculty development program.
5) To keep vigilance on the attendance of teaching and regularity of the faculty in taking the classes and to monitor the lecture progress reports for both theory & practical classes.
The Scholarship Committee (SC) reviews all undergraduate and graduate scholarship applications of ST/SC/OBC students and makes recommendations to the Principal of the college for final decision. The Scholarship Committee may be asked to also review other student awards on an as needed basis (e.g., University Scholars Program).
Members of the Scholarship Committee are nominated by the Department Head from faculty members who teach within their department and appointed by the Principal.
Committee recommendations will be based on individual scholarship and state scholarship procedures as students of different states come to study. Members also provide input into the scholarship application and process, and are expected to keep themselves updated with procedures of scholarships.
The Scholarship Committee meets at least one time during the each semesters. Meetings will be called by Chairman of the Scholarship Committee ,or the Principal for the purpose of discussing items of concern or interest. Meetings will typically take place in person.
The Examination Committee deals with various examinations held by the college. Examination committee advises on all matters relevant to College examinations, including time tables, timing, content, and evaluation (internals and other) of exams.
Advise and moderate for report on all matters;
Set Principles and Guidelines for Examination Policy;
Handling Examinations and individual disciplines;
Participate and advise to assessment panels (with their appeals) for examinations when required.
The Institution has always been keen on the overall development of the teaching and non-teaching staff and abides by their welfare. Staff Welfare Committee aims for overall development of staff members by applying different welfare schemes. This committee works for the benefit and welfare of the all staff and provides a channel to interact with each other.

Collection and compile database of faculty and staff working in the campus.
To provide opportunities for attending various workshops, seminars, symposiums and conferences conducted by various institutions and agencies in and outside the state.
To plan and organize regular programs and activities for the development of faculty and administrative staff.

To look after the needs of the staff to maintain their high morale.
To ensure favourable working environment for members of staff.
Students Welfare Committee has been formed with the sole intention to act as an interface between the Management and Students. The Committee administers and makes decisions concerning Student Welfare, taking up issues reported by students and resolves them by bringing it to the notice of the Director. The Committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss the problems and probable ways of improvement in the standards with respect to facilities and the like. If required, the committee also ensures smooth functioning of clubs or other academic activities within the college..
A Centralized Confidential Students Grievance Redressal Committee has been reconstituted on 01.07.2018 to redress the grievances and complaints of the students.
Objectives of Grievance Redressal Committee:
